Free cancellation up to seven days before check-in. 50 % retained for cancellations 3 – 7 days before. Full retention for cancellations within 72 hours. We are flexible with weather-related delays — just call ahead.

During April – June and September – October, almost never. From mid-July through August, occasional vacancies exist. Please call before driving up — the road is too long for a wasted journey.

UPI, Razorpay-secured cards (Visa, Mastercard, Rupay, Amex), bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS), and cash on arrival. Cards attract a 2 % gateway charge if charged on a foreign-issued card.

The Family Room and one Deluxe Room are step-free. The dining hall and reception are on a single ground level. The path from car parking to reception involves a ten-step ascent — our staff carry luggage and can assist guests with mobility concerns.

Yamunotri Dham is reached by road to Janki Chatti followed by the trek to the temple. Travel time from Barkot varies with traffic, weather and road conditions.

No — pony, palki, dandi, kandi, helicopter, VIP darshan and pooja services are charged separately at government-fixed rates. We do not mark up these services. Our role is coordination and trustworthy bookings.

Barkot is best visited according to your travel plan and the Yamunotri season. During monsoon, mountain roads can be affected by rain and landslides, so check conditions before travelling.

Carry warm layers, a rain jacket, comfortable walking shoes, personal medicines, sunscreen and a water bottle. Pack according to the weather forecast for your dates.

The Yamunotri route reaches high altitude. Walk slowly, stay hydrated and do not ignore symptoms such as severe headache, vomiting, unusual breathlessness or confusion. Seek medical help when needed.
